2.7 million guns purchased in November & December?

Post by OakRidgeStars »

I'm not sure I agree with these stats due to the fact that they are based solely on NICS checks, which could occur for reasons other than a firearms purchase. However, if this is even remotely accurate, then it's certainly a lesson for the gun grabbers on the laws of unintended consequences.

But I'm sure all the people buying guns in the last 30 days are doing so just so they can register or surrender them at the government's discretion, right?

I know most of mine were for multiples too. One check but many firearms. I suspect I wasn't alone either.

All political power comes from the barrel of a gun. The communist party must command all the guns, that way, no guns can ever be used to command the party - Mao Tse Tung

If you look at the ammo sales.....I think America is getting ready for a civil war.

According to the data from the FBI, no other checks were included in the data. All of of the checks were for 'gun purchases background checks' only, However, they couldn't indicate if all were approved or if 1 or more handguns were purchased. It wold be interesting to know the denial rate to see what the actual minimum number of sales were.

I was at Virginia Arms this past weekend, the store was nearly cleaned out. I can easily believe 2.7 million and likely more with multiple purchases.
