Walmart Low on Ammo Dec 2012
Re: Walmart Low on Ammo Dec 2012
Not sure, but those of you near Lynchburg, Dicks has stockpiles of ammo. I walked out with 10 boxes of 9mm and didn't put a debt in their stock

The Harrisonburg stores are the same here, Bought all the winchester shells they had, no 22 or centerfire. I reload but low on componets. Time to call Natchez!!
Love the smell of gun powder

Petersburg Walmart had more ammo today than I have seen in any in the last 3 weeks. I picked 3-100 rd. Box Win. .38 sp. 450 rds. .22 Mag. 400 rds. .17 HMR and 450 rds. .45 ACP......I don't even have anything to shoot .45 ACP , but I have been looking at a Ruger 1911.

Snakester, I'm just going to come down there and buy ammo from you. Seems like you're all stocked up! I think your monthly ammo purchases come up to be more than all of my monthly bills!

I do have more inventory NOW than all the Walmarts in our area. Anymore you have to buy it when you see it. I have 4 friends that shoot with me all the time.....We are always trading ammo and shooting accessories. Today I traded a 100 rd. box .357 Mag. for a New Bushnell Scope for my new 10/22. By buddy Matt bought it for his Marlin 60 then found a silver scope and though it would look better than the black. My wife and I do shoot a lot .38 sp. and .22LR . We have some Private land to shoot on ...We go through a lot of ammo in a days time. We always seem to shoot more ammo outdoors than at an indoor range.
