I live in chesterfield. I would have to bring my four little ones ( seven years old to one). What do y'all think? We have gone to tea party rallies with them. You think it would be acceptable to bring them?

I have already taken the day off on Monday (21 Jan)to go to the capital with VCDL and couldn't take Friday off. But I will be with you all in Spirit.

Belay my last. For some odd reason, I thought the 19th was on Friday. It's on Saturday. DUH...

Wouldn't it make more sense to have a coordinated event one time with all groups for maximum turn out?

It would make sense. Apparently, Lobby day is every year and VCDL members attend. I am going to a meeting in Goochland about this tomorrow evening.

So I also saw on another forum that there is a national gathering at state capitals on Feb 9th. If you all are interested I'll track down the link and post it here.

Well this doesn't do much good for our cause if there are multiple dates. One good showing will be more effective.

VCDL's is MLK day, but I don't think spreading it out would be a bad thing... I think a CONSTANT FLOW OF PRO GUN would alert the G.A. that silliness will NOT be tolerated.

I'll be there.
One suggestion from the video I like was to dress respectable and not play into the usual stereotype from the left of gun rights supporters.

I hope everyone can make it out to support. As far as the seperate dates are concerned...I think its great, go as many times as you can. If you can't make one, go to another. It will be harder for the media to ignore if we march more than once.
