Experience/Reviews on Northern VA Tactical?
I've been searching for defensive firearms instruction in NOVA and this place came up in my research. Seems like a good place, and I may take one of their defensive pistol classes in the near future. Does anyone have any first hand experience in taking classes from NVT? I would appreciate any insight into this place. Other suggestions for good defensive pistol training in NOVA are also welcome. Thanks!
Re: Experience/Reviews on Northern VA Tactical?
I took a defensive handgun class from them several years ago. They did a terrific job. Since then I've had problems finding classes and/or getting anything scheduled. Plus, the instructor who taught me left NVT. I have since switched my preferred instructor to John Murphy at FPF Training (www.fpftraining.com). John is a former Marine and runs his courses with "tough love," but he's excellent -- well worth the drive to Culpeper. If you're willing to travel a little further (WV), I also recommend Pat Goodale at Practical Firearms Training (www.pgpft.com). Superb.

Good training from these guys here. Highly recommend.ProShooter wrote:We would be happy to help with your training needs.
I had a SCAR 17 and 16. I also had a bunch of Glocks and a couple H&K pistols. Oh and a DDM4, but I sold everything when our government told me these dangerous tools can actually hurt someone. Apparently they grow legs and go on killing sprees.
