[Video] AR-15 Rifle Explosion
Oops! Man, this would probably make me $#!+ my pants!
Re: [Video] AR-15 Rifle Explosion
Thanks, now I'm having second thoughts on shooting my AR this afternoon. Think I'll just break out the mini 14 instead.

I think maybe the lesson to learn here is... if it clicks and doesn't fire, don't just keep jamming on the magazine and racking the slide until it decides to make a bang. Perhaps a click means "Stop what you're doing and take a bit more of a detailed look at what's going on with your firearm"!

This guy had a short round that stuck in the barrel. That is why you need to know what a shot should sound like vs a short round. He is very lucky. As a medic I have seen the aftermath of a short round.
I have and will continue to stand ready to engage and destroy the enemy (Islamic terrorists) on their own turf so my children can be free and unafraid.

I've never had an accident but I do try and remember to check the bore before I load and start shooting. You never know what may have crawled in their since you last cleaned it.
