Saw that at gunauctions. I was just trying to find a good pistol grip ;(
If you want total security, go to prison. There you're fed, clothed, given medical care and so on. The only thing lacking... is freedom.

There are basically no AR15's to be had anywhere that I have looked. I have one on back order and am wondering if I will get it before the ban.

I'm not sure if I even want to see what the gunshows in the area are going to look like.

The Fredericksbug show wasn't very crowded until about 1 pm Sunday. I didn't check AR prices because I wasn't looking for one, but there sure seemed to be plenty of them for sale. I expect that may be different at shows beginning this week.
Lowers sure are hard to come by right now.
A Kel-Tec Sub2000 sold for over $1200 on GB yesterday. That's more than 3x the normal LGS price.

freakin 500 rds or 7.62x39 was selling for $250 on GB yesterday...I ordered some through Sportsmans Guide only to find out it wasn't expected to be filled until October of 2013....CTD had some still, but nothing in bigger lots than 500. Ridiculousness happening everywhere.

Yea this is crazy. I am glad I went to the National Gun Show last month and picked up another one of those evil assault rifles. The place I got it from told me that Arsenal was already planning on increasing their price...I can only imagine what it will be now when/if they actually get anymore in stock.

Re: WOW! Auction Sites Hit Hard
Anyone have an idea when ammo will be back to a reasonable price and in stock?

The only way I see that happening is when/if these proposed bans get shot down...pun intended. So IF that happens it wont be for at least a year.TheGodfather wrote:Anyone have an idea when ammo will be back to a reasonable price and in stock?
Re: WOW! Auction Sites Hit Hard
I would think when a ban if any actually comes into force. That way the parameters are set, what you're seeing right now is people buying up whatever they can get their hands on. Once they clarify what's happening next then I think things will be a bit better, the "I have to buy everything" hysteria will calm down. But thats some months down the road.

What people should probably be buying instead are 20+ rd mags.donut wrote:I would think when a ban if any actually comes into force. I was too young to know, but under the last gun ban how were sales between people of grandfathered in weapons and mags limited?
Re: WOW! Auction Sites Hit Hard
I think it's just high volume doing them in. This is the message that shows up on their home page:OakRidgeStars wrote:Atlantic Firearms' site was face down sucking mud yesterday

Dang. I am seriously considering buying an AR-15. But with ammo selling for a buck a round, don't know if I can stomach it.airbornepirate wrote:The only way I see that happening is when/if these proposed bans get shot down...pun intended. Understandable...but even if you can't shoot it often because of ammo costs, I bet it does better than any 401k will over the next year at least. That and if/when a ban get put in place you wont even have the option of purchasing one for a price close to what they are now if at all.
