Well....my husband and I were considering hiring a service to help me keep up with the housework and possible a weekly mothers helped to give me a short beak every now and again....no longer. Taxmageddon and healthcare costs are likely going to eat that money, not mention the increasing energy costs and the rising food prices that accompany energy costs.

When I have less money I don't hire people, i conserve resources and make do with what i have. One a large scale this is what will happen nationally.

Mam bear, it's also an exercise good for your health. After 12-14 hours daily on my chair, on Friday evening I really feel the need to go out and do some work. And saved money buys some .22 ammo for my daughter (she shoots some 200-300 rounds almost every week )

Well a twice a month service to wash the Windows and deep clean the floors would not take much away from my routines of laundry, meals, and dishes for six people. However it would mean cleaner windows. Sadly we will have to live with what I can scrape up in between homeschooling my kids, keeping everyone fed, and attempting to keep the house sanitary.

I don't expect to be able to save that $$. I expect it will go to pay for taxes, food, and gas.

Sometimes when somethig is counterintuitive there's a good reason for it.

It occurs to me that in those richest counties, there must be 5 or 10 poor service workers for every 1 percenter. So without seeing evidence that there are not enough poor folks who make up the majority of the voters in the richest counties to outvote the fabuluosly rich folks who live in the mansions, I'm not prepared believe that these statistics tell the whole story. Maybe they do; but they may also just tell part of the story, as statistics so often do.

I can only speak of Westchester having lived there, but the "help" came in from Yonkers, which is (uncommon in NY) its own municpality in the county of Westchester and shouldn't have been included with the rest of the county, but I dunno how they tabulated it all. If they did include Yonkers Obamas 60% is less suprising since Yonkers is heavily non-white on one side and Irish elsewhere.

I'm not making a seperate thread to gloat (because I was going to be unhappy today irregardless of who won), but to remind you I said it was demographically impossible for Romney to win and many of you said I was wrong.

The fact Romney/Ryan lost Mass. and Wisconsin kind of proved that. Not sure if thats ever happened before, a ticket losing both home states.

That being said, I will give you four more predictions that will be correct:

1) GWB will be have been the last Republican heterosexual Protestant white male President.

2) The next Democrat candidate will push harder left. And still win.

3) The GOP as of today will be in retreat mode forever more and begin pandering to non-whites big time, but it won't work, thus confirming their slide to utter irrelevance.

4) Tea party types (which the Democrats declared "are over") will create a third party by 2020 and will gain a few House seats but never be a serious national force.

That is all.

I had hoped america would win and hence Obama lose but I know the only way obama could lose was
1, the 13-15th amendments to the constitution be repealled for just the day of the election ( no illegals anchor babies )
2 white people get alot more pride in their nation and race. Recall that when the country was considerd to have the greatest generation by many ecomists was the 1950s 1960s, I believe america was like 80%-90% white now its less than 70% and back then you did not have kids taking guns to school to shoot people, as much poverty and seems things are much better. A woman could walk down the street without fear of being raped.

I think your predictions are right, unless people decide to not let it happen and load up rifles and lace boots. This our country and many people want to take it back. I dont care what color someone is if they stand for america I am on their side and wish that 93% of blacks and 71% of latnios would quit being libreals lap dog.

What is also right is that the Republicans need to start choosing actual Constitutionalists in their Primary elections (Step 1), and then vote for them in the General elections (Step 2), in order to start winning again.
