Time with VAhunter and SgtBill

Post by zephyp »

I had the privilege to spend some time yesterday with Henry (VAhunter) and Bill (SgtBill). I won't bother you with all the details, but suffice it to say I walked away with some very valuable knowledge. Bill gave me some excellent tips on carrying, confrontation, and combat shooting. If you have the opportunity to spend time with these folks or receive advice I highly recommend you take advantage of it. You simply cannot beat the wisdom, experience, and fellowship. Best time I've had in a very long while.

My pleasure Henry. I aint gonna touch that comment about Bill. Next time he might decide to start smacking me when I flinch.... I'd hate to get in the habit of ducking my head every time I fire... :hysterical:

And you bet that I will take you up on that offer.

I had a great time and look forward to doing it again soon. Only problem for me is its a 3+ hour drive but well worth the effort.

DK it was great meeting you and helping you out with my limited knowledge. Anytime I can give you a hand let me know.

40Shooter, anytime you need help or a place to shoot along with anyone else on this board just let me know. I do have the knowledge and the range.

Thanks, Bill. Likewise. I do appreciate that. Your time and tips the other day are invaluable and I do hope to benefit from more. Everyone's knowledge is limited but yours far outstrips mine and then some...Btw, can you recommend a decent book or author that might be good for me to read?

Thanks, Bill! I've seen that book and will order today. I dont have the benefit of your experience but I can sure gain benefit from your wisdom. It is much appreciated.

Just checked Amazon and "No second place winner" is written by Bill Jordan. That the one?
