My 4 Y.O. Son With His New Gun

Post by allingeneral »

My 4 year old step son has a new revolver. It's an 8-shot cap gun. He was open carrying just a little while ago and I snapped a picture. :packin:

I have to ask, have you seen a "cricket" .22 rifle? Looks like he might be thinking "cap guns are great dad, but a real gun would be better." :D

We'll get to the real gun soon enough. His big brother, 10 years old, just got his first BB gun - a Red Ryder. I'm hoping he can start it out right by not shooting his eye out. We'll graduate to a .22 pellet rifle before we get anything that can fire a .22 short.

I have my oldest son's Red Ryder in the basement, he doesn't want anything to do with it anymore though. Fortunately he's still got both eyes, he's just more interested in MN 91/30's, Taurus .45 ACP's, and the like.
