So your vote for the 3rd party guy instead of Romney as the next best choice or lesser of two evils or however you choose to characterize it may well put a socialist redistributionist @sshole who is hostile to gun rights and all our other dearest values and who doesn't have to worry any more about getting re-elected back in the White House with absolutely no hope of gaining you anything that you want to see happen (except that you voted for whoever it was).

Judging by how people say they will vote for a sack of potatoes or a ham sandwich over Obama, I'm afraid that mentality is more widespread then you might think.

The Romneybot 3000 signing those anti-gun bills may reflect his personal convictions or may simply reflect the fact he caved to the overwhelmingly anti-gun liberal Masshole legislators, perhaps in the spirit of the bipartisanship he mentioned 30 times in the debate.

I do find it amusing Obama loosened gun laws(amtrak, national parks, and foreign export) and is the gun grabber, while the guy that tightened them is the Savior.

Lets be honest, Obama blows, but a gun grabber he aint. The biggest one in his pack went back Illinois to run Shitcago further into the ground.

Gun control hasn't come up yet, but you know both of them will support "common sense regulations" anyway should it come up. I'd like to see more Tea Partier types in Congress to prevent that from happening irregardless of who wins.

The blatant truth is Obama is just as middling on guns as Romney, why does that bother you so much? Because it defies the mantra the GOP has worked so hard to build up from day one? That Obama will stop at nothing to grab our guns?

If you really think a Prez Romney will abstain from signing "common sense" bills into law you're the partisan hack I think you are showing yourself to be instead of the rational adult you actually are. I'm not saying Prez Obama wouldn't do it either, but both of them would do it should it come across their desk.


I don't think a Prez Obama or Prez Romeny would AGGRESSIVELY push for that to happen; Obama is too political to damn his party second term or not, and Romney would want a second term so he wouldn't do it...bottom line I stand by we need to focus on the House/Senate in terms of keeping gun freedoms...not the WH since either major candidate is gonna suck on guns.

One of the few things that Romney and I agree on is his assertion that 47% of the vote will go to Obama no matter what. The other side of the coin is that another 47% will go to Romney no matter what. Thus, both candidates are pandering to that 6% that can be swayed. As long as Republicans can take our support for granted, nothing is going to change for us. We have got to stop waiting for for a better candidate to come along, and make them give us candidates we can support without holding our collective noses. We have that power. We proved it in 1994, and they haven't forgot.

Insanity has been described as doing the same thing over and over with the expectation of a different result. As supporters of freedom, and the freedom to keep and bear arms in particular, we have got to change the way we think about the future. Thinking long term does not mean being worried about Obama's appointments to the Supreme Court. America survived his predecessors, and we will survive Obama. No, we should be thinking about the America that we are passing on to our children, and to their children. Will they bless us for saving them from another four years of Obama by electing Romney in his stead? I have my doubts.
