Large Bore- NOT an 'assault rifle'

Post by Jacob »

Just got the call, and the barrel blank for my .416 Taylor project is on the way!!!
Got a 1918 Spandau 98 action I have been saving, and a walknut blank I have been saving for it. Happy dance! It's all coming together.... slowly.
Mechanic's cars.....carpenter's house......cobbler's shoes......gunsmith's guns.
I am making time to get the new bolt handle welded on and begin action work on it soon, got to order dies so I can make some dummy rounds and get the feed rails milled out to work.

Anybody else got any big bore express type rifles kicking around?
