I would have paid him with a combination of different coins, separated into 57 different snack size ziploc bags...

AH! But he can FILE A LAWSUIT that they REFUSED to take the payment!

There aren't ANY rules about HOW the money is received, just that it's RECEIVED!

If he made payment BEFORE the date, IN FULL, and without damaging the bills? They haven't a leg to stand on.

Not true, they can specify the money be received in its "standard configuration".

For the "pay with pennies" crowd thats a really funny idea until they make you count them.

We get people in Mcds all the time that just give you a handful of coins are except you to count them for you...... really people if you want to pay in coins count them on the table and that way I can watch and nobody has to recount anything.
