The next World War
The next World War
Forget the old commie states...Russia and China. The next world war, when it comes, will be the west against Muslims. It just seems inevitable to me. Maybe not next year...maybe not in 10 years...but when entire nations are being brought up to hate us just for the sake of being haters I dont see any way around it. Take the current protests all over the Muslim world over that you tube video. That is nothing more than an excuse to justify violence.

Re: The next World War
The next world war has already begun. The muslim extremists know they can't win a head to head war. That is why they have embraced terrorism. They take little bites at us then run and hide behind their "peaceful religion". Blaming us for anything bad that happens to civilians. They know the western world can obliterate them in a head to head confrontation.
Out challenge is figuring out how to win this kind of war.

Re: The next World War
You cannot win a guerrilla war. To do that? We'd have to change our entire way of life.
Which means they win.
The means to win is to REMOVE ourselves, our money, and our diplomacy from the ENTIRE Middle East.
And don't forget, we REFINE the oil into gasoline for just more than the U.S. We'd get oil from other countries, and maybe this would be the push we need to become energy independent for REAL, not windmills, and solar.
I think about Israel. And I remember what it was like being hated by neighbors because of my beliefs (Remember I was the ONLY conservative in a liberal gay neighborhood). It's lonely. But... it makes you stronger.

I'm not sure I agree with this. If 'we' abandon the middle east to its own devices, fuel prices WILL skyrocket and the cost of living will easily go up 25-50% overnight. And don't forget, we REFINE the oil into gasoline for just more than the U.S. We'd get oil from other countries, and maybe this would be the push we need to become energy independent for REAL, not windmills, and solar.

Re: The next World War
I don't think many folks with both feet on the ground haven't figured out who the next war (or maybe I should say "the current" war) is with.
I think maybe some of them haven't realized yet that it's more than likely to be fought partially here at home. It ain't gonna stay over there with the towel heads, because we don't make THEM stay over there with each other. The more fools us, I say.

It's already been figured out. The problem is having leaders with the stones to do it.skeeterss0 wrote: Out challenge is figuring out how to win this kind of war.

I was thinking more along the lines of "kill'emall".

The only problem with those ideas is Israel is in the middle of that mess.
Maybe we can offer Israel part of Southern California or Arizona or New Mexico right on the southern border. Let them worry about that stretch's security and then do the glass treatment.
In one sense we are partially responsible for it. We insist on driving huge cars, having huge houses, make everything out of plastic and throw it away. We buy oil that provides the money they buy the RPGs and AKs with. Just like the money that supports the drug cartels from Columbia to Mexico.

You just have to ask yourself, is he telling you the truth based on knowledge and experience or spreading internet myths?

These people worship a mass murdering pedophile and you think our purchase decisions have something to do with it?grumpyMSG wrote:In one sense we are partially responsible for it.
We are in no way, shape, or form responsible for looney tune barbarians running around murdering everyone.
The only thing we are guilty of is not properly dealing with it. Just like the national debt, we're kicking the can down the road. The longer we kick it, the harder it's gonna be to fix it.

Re: The next World War
I see two options for a third world war....the first is with China with Russia and N. Korea as background. Bad news big time. The second and the far more likely problem is the Muslim issue. Individual muslims can be alright as people. But because their religion is also a political system and a mandatory one at that every time and anytime they get a majority in a country count on that country eventually going to hades in a handbasket. Eventually we either seal off the region and practice a policy of quarantine, or we whip them so bad one of these times that they are afraid for another whipping for at least a generation. The problem though is every body wants to believe so bad that Islam is a religion of peace that they don't understand and read the Koran. When this is pointed out they immediately say "well the bible has violent passages too!" which is true, but we have generations that done know the difference between biblical hermeneutics and Koranic hermeneutics.
Let me see if I can put this as straightforward as possible. When God told the Israelites to throw the moabites out of the land, he was ONLY talking to the Jews living at that time in that place. There is no Christian sect, no matter how conservative, that I have ever heard of that believes they are to literally throw the moabites out. There may be application to today, but in no way am I expected as a follower of God to throw anyone out of anywhere. However, when the Koran tells it's followers to purge the land of unbelievers and not to have mercy on any of them, many conservative Muslims take that as a personal command to do just that.
That is why I think that we are in for a rough ride. Everyone wants to be nice and play nice, except that the muslims that want to do us in are not going to abide by the rules of warfare. Our leaders are so gentrified and emasculated that they can't see past their liberalism. So we have a big big problem on our hands here

But we are the reason they have the money to export Wahhabism and explosives.TheGodfather wrote:We are in no way, shape, or form responsible for looney tune barbarians running around murdering everyone.
To be fair the British and French were meddling in the region before we were, for the same reasons, with the same results.

So I think an excellent solution is to drill for our own oil and let the wahabbies find another buyer.
