Predictably, Bloomberg just decried the problem of "GUN VIOLENCE" even in his "safest big city " of New York. The guy gives anuses a bad name.

Murder victim worked for HAZAN IMPORTS. Photo of woman tending man laying on street seemed to show what may have been a Middle Eastern man injured or killed. Shooter's last name was JOHNSON and he lived in Manhattan (and so almost certainly could not legally possess the hangun he used) Weapon used was ".45 caliber with 8-shot capacity". Last words Bloomberg spoke when he closed his press conference were, "and again, there's an awful lot of guns out there."

I sure wish NYC would look into more strict gun laws, didn't this guy know it's illegal to have a piston in NYC!

But..but.. Dorm... there cannot be any Gun Violence in NYC... GUNS ARE ILLEGAL!

Has anyone noticed that the MSM has decided to "champion" gun control by reporting TONS of "shootings"? Even if they're MINOR? I can understand reporting the ones with multiple victims, but the one-off's are getting airplay as well.

"Winning Hearts, and Minds" though, it's causing the OPPOSITE affecting! More Americans are asking "Well, WHY can I NOT carry EVERYWHERE to PROTECT myself!?"

Hizzoner the Mayor neglected to mention that the cops may have shot some of the wounded, too. He did say that someone reported the situation to the police and "then turned it over to the professionals" HAH! Maybe all that hype and that hasty press conference wasn't ALL about beating the gun violence drum. Maybe it was about covering up or at least glossing over the fact that the "professionals" shot some innocent bystanders. I wondered what all those conspiratorial glances they were exchanging at the press conference were about.

The "gunman" shot one guy, the police shot everybody else.

Is this a new trend in mass shootings? Those not having the fortitude ( or ammo ) to shoot several persons can merely shoot one and then walk into a crowd.
