Too bad those who need to see it will avoid it like a pig avoids snakes.

Neat video. Thanks for sharing.

http://2016themovie.com/ Looks like it opens this Friday in Houston. I wonder how widespread the release will be (I would imagine not much since political movies tend not to sell tickets and popcorn).

This clip does raise valid questions about his mysterous personal background and what he plans on doing during a second term.

Reckon Charlottesville has enough non-liberals in it to fill a movie theater? They'll for sure have to let folks in from Greene, Orange, Louisa, Fluvanna, Buckingham, Nelson, Augusta and Rockingham counties. (That's a LOT of neighboring Counties. Wonder how many counties border 8 others?) Charlottesville has the same problem as NOVA: Too many liberal movers-in, and not enough people that live there are from there. Heck - that was already a problem when I went to school there back in the mid-to-late '70s.

I checked yesterday about where I could see the movie 2016. The closest places are as follows:

Christiansburg, VA - 150 miles
Knoxville, TN - 140 miles
Hickory, NC - 147 miles
Lexington, KY - 170 miles
Noplace listed in West Virginia.

Don't know if it will be shown more widely or not, but I'm unlikely to go that far to see it. Besides, I already KNOW I don't like the S.O.B.

You city folk ought to give up on the animal analogies, pigs aren't scared of snakes. They think they are a delicacy!

I thought the same thing - - pigs EAT snakes. Hell, pigs'll eat just about ANYTHING.

I used to get dough and flour from the bakery. We fed about 40 pigs. When we found a snake in the silo we'd kill it and dip it in the flour and dough. The pigs would eat till they saw it was a snake then hastily pull a noisey retreat.....

Once it started stinking the'd eat it....

don't think they took kindly to live snakes being pink nosed rooters... avoided them judiciously from the years I observed them.

The documentary “2016: Obama’s America,” which paints a bleak picture of the world should President Obama be re-elected, has been in theaters for a couple of months. But Yahoo! Movies, one of the biggest online movie listings sites, does not list its theaters or showtimes

While its easy to find out when and where the likes of “Expendables 2” and “Sparkle” are playing, in addition to independent films like “Sleepwalk With Me,” there are no listings for the Dinesh D’Souza-directed “2016.” In fact, Yahoo! Movies appears not to have the documentary listed in its database at all.

“I was interested in seeing the new movie, ‘2016: Obama's America’ so I went to Yahoo! Movies as I usually do to find the time and showing. I found that you cannot search for it on Yahoo! Movies,” one disgruntled moviegoer told FOX411’s Pop Tarts column. “I checked the movie's site and found out where it was opening on August 24th and so I checked those theaters for that date and it does not show up. Is it possible that Yahoo! is trying to keep people from watching this movie?”

Yahoo! Movies did not respond to our request for comment.

I had this same problem the past few days and have only found Fandango to list it.

Just do a Yahoo search on 2016. It turns up a "2016 the movie" link, and that site lists theaters where it's showing. I don't know if it lists them all, but if it does the movie is not too widely distributed. As I posted above, the closest to me was 140 miles away in Christiansburg.

Yeah, I've already posted that link. The point is, in the movie section of Yahoo, they are intentionally not posting the information. Movies that are just as rare and are even less popular are getting their showtimes and tickets shown.

Yahoo is my home page just out of habit, and I've got a long-standing backup e-mail there, too. But Google's no better. What IS a good search site to use as a home page?

BTW, I found out 2016 is playing at Bristol, VA. That's a mere 60 miles or so. I'll probably go see that movie today. I hope the place ain't mobbed. It's NASCAR race weekend in Bristol. There'll be 150,000 half-drunk (and some of 'em will be ALL drunk) rednecks to wade through unless they're all at the Friday night race.

Y'all don't suppose a feller ought to be PACKIN' when he goes to that movie, do you? I mean, what if a dyed-in-the-wool liberal democrat-with-a-gun (Cowboy T swears there are some) shows up and starts shootin' at all of us sinners in there listening to that heresy? :machinegun:

In C'ville, it's a Regal Cinema. They have a no firearms policy.
A pic of their rules placard is here:
