I'd say hopefully that this is the end of the Obama campaign, except for the Democrats' election fraud machine.

I agree with the men on this video... Obama and his administration should not be divulging secrets and classified information. They are risking our loved ones, and our fellow country men.

Both my parents are/were in the military, my step dad in intel. I am for the Federal reserve being transparent, and other parts of the government being transparent with checks and balances. Using intel to get you more politcal sway is evil.

my two cents for what it is worth.

Excellent, excellent video, Jake. It is spot on and to the point.

This administration of left-wing Liberals cannot even begin to fathom the meaning behind, or understand what we as veterans mean when we say, "Duty, Honor, Country."

common now. Duty, Honor, Country is by no means something that is ubiquitous to conservative, right-wing rank and file. if you think Romney knows sh*t about duty or honor you better share what you're smoking.

Just because many do the wrong thing does not mean that it is right or okay, to do those things. If you sacrifice OPSEC for political gain then you are no different than a boot PFC bragging about his MCMAP skills. PFC gets his @$$ beat and looks like a fool as well.

Great video. Thanks for sharing!

I agree that while we need to have a transparent government, when it comes to tactics, locations, and who is doing the work, there is no reason to give our enemies the chance to learn how we operate.

From the thread title, I thought that Jake had stumbled upon Obama's diary.

Several years ago, I was constantly listening to hippie acquaintances drone on and on about how many military secrets that Bush was keeping from us, in regard to Bin Laden, WTC attacks, etc. They seemed to think that Americans have the right to know all these secrets.

This video pretty much sums up everything that I was trying to pound into their drug addled brains in response to their shroom induced commentary.

If I took part in any internet social networking, I'd repost this video; but my time spent on VGOF is pretty much the extent of my internet socializing.

Please consider not putting words into my mouth. I'm quite capable of cogent conversation without resorting to witticisms about drug use. I was speaking to the difference between left-wing liberals, who are rarely the type to raise their hand and swear the Oath of Enlistment, and the average Veteran who is more often than not a Conservative with a deep sense of patriotism that most liberals cannot fathom, nor understand. I can count on one hand how many liberals I know that have served or are currently serving. If more exist, they don't mention it. The ones I do know of did one tour, did not reenlist, and joined to get college money. Fine by me. I happen to think military service should be mandatory, like Sweden or Israel.

Finally, I was not speaking to whether Romney knows about "Duty, Honor, Country," but as a devout Mormon and a man who, to me, seems to have far more principles than the current President, I would rather place my faith in his ability to keep his yap shut about National Security and not endanger the lives of the very individuals who defend this country with theirs. Watch the video and you'll see the many ways in which the current President endangered countless people by putting agenda before country. As he is want to do, he said he wouldn't spike the football then did just that, less than one year later -- in a political ad. But that is his way.

While I have no enduring affection for politicians as a whole, I can't say there are "plenty of a**holes on both sides of the aisle." I happen to like most of my elected officials -- Rob Wittman (Virginia District One), is quite good at his job, and I've no complaints about the job being done by Governor McDonnell, or even Senator Webb. It's the folks at the top of the ladder and certain double-talk Democrats (the Nancy Pelosis, Harry Reids, and Debbie Wasserman-Schultzs of the world), whom I cannot stand because I vehemently disagree with their points of view. But I wouldn't call them "a**holes."

I didn't put any words in your mouth, you said (typed) them yourself. if you want to put everyone in their discrete little buckets that's your prerogative, however it's simply not true. there are plenty of liberals who serve this country every single day. if you don't know any of them that's your own issue, doesn't mean they aren't there. a liberal who doesn't brag about his service, god forbid.

and this liberal agrees, service should be mandatory. or at the least, you can only vote in elections if you have served.

as a recovering conservative it's disheartening to come to gun ownership boards and have this right-wing conservative claptrap being thrown into your face at all times. all liberals don't think the same way, just like all conservatives don't think the same way. saying that liberals know nothing of honor and duty is insulting, and I took it exactly how you meant it.

Leaks (even of a national security nature) for political gain are not new to this administration.

I'm playing by the very same rules in which liberals such as yourself set them. It is liberals who wish people to exist in only two categories. The fact you call yourself a lib and own a gun seems to be an oxymoron. It is my opinion that liberals know nothing of honor, duty, country. If you disagree, so be it. And why you would come here and not expect the "right-wing conserative claptrap" be thrown into your face is as amusing as it is puzzling. Most libs are anti-gun, because that's the party line. Perhaps you're actually an independent?

And you've once again changed my words, but that's how libs operate so I expect that. I wrote that I know of "very few" liberals in the military, not that I know of none, which is what you wrote. The ones I do know joined for selfish reasons or the lack of other options, which is fine. I joined because of pride in my country and a feeling that I owe it to this great nation to serve. There is a difference. I am also not sure where you got the part about liberals bragging or not bragging about their service, but I said nothing about that.

But let's be clear about one thing. You began this argument by implying my point of view is mistaken because it does not fit into your point of view. I was going to suggest that you are anything but a liberal based on some of your ideas, but the fact that you think I'm wrong because I don't agree with you, clearly makes you one. It's more commonly known as "hypocrisy," or in layman's terms, the Democrats belief that everyone should be free to express their opinion ... as long as it coincides with their beliefs and agendas.

Have a good day.

I was thinking the same thing as long as they keep the part where the three gentlemen tell the President to keep his mouth shut, each in their own unique way.
