He should've picked one of the GOPs token non-whites (I think theres like five or six to pick from); doubling down on a now purely white conservative constituency is not wise.

The reason they tapped Ryan for the ticket is because they wanted at least one Republicant on the ticket.

Hey! Would this make a good Tom Clancy novel?

I think Ryan is a good choice. He's been very outspoken about the economic climate and has good ideas for the budget. He is a good speaker unlike our current VP and unlike our last VP nominee. I'm glad Romney steered away from playing the race card and choosing someone for the color of their skin. I also think Ryan as VP will make it a much easier decision for conservative-leaning independents come November.

No doubt Ryan is a good pick. Will make watching the VP debate interesting. Ryan will wipe the floor with Biden as long as they stay with economic subjects, but if they get into foreign policy I think Biden will get in some good shots.

What concerns me is a Ryan VP would take a fiscal warrior out of Congress and could marginalize his effectiveness.

I doubt Biden could talk to a McDonalds Drive Thru winow intelligently//Thankfully Mitt used his damn brains and got away from the really bad/stupid choices he could have made.

Hot air had a short blurb on Ryan's gun credentials, apparently a hunter, sportsman, A rating from NRA. So far so good.

Now I hope that Ron Paul will have the intelligence and decency to endorse the Romney-Ryan ticket.

Okay, NOW I like the Romney side! I wasn't crazy about Mitt, but I have met Paul Ryan, and he's a straight shooter.

Literally, and figuratively.

He is a gun owning conservative, who flat out is closer to libertarian, than republican in some ways...

You heard it here first: Joe Biden is going to have a sudden health issue and someone else will run with Obummer.
