Mosin Nagant parts wanted
Mosin Nagant parts wanted
Looking for parts to reconfigure my 1929 Tula ex-Dragoon back to "look-alike" status.
1. Konovalov sight base and leaf assembly - entire unit tapped off any M91, can be Finn strike-through, weak finish, functional condition
2. M91 front barleycorn sight blade - Russian style, not a Finn double-stack
3. pair of solid barrel bands
4. fair/good condition M91/30 pre-war or wartime stock WITHOUT band removal cutouts; can be Finn-captured M91/30 stock without cutouts
5. fair/good condition M91/30 pre-war or wartime handguard
Looking for spare parts for another Mosin Nagant project.
1. bent bolt body (handle only) - don't care about markings or metal finish - just that it works
2. good take-off M91 barrel, don't care about metal finish - just good bore - complete with front barleycorn and rear Konovalov sights - Russian or Finn is fine
If interested I can trade 7.62x54r and 7.92mm ammo, as well as pay cash.
Not in any hurry, just wanted to get some gears turning out there!
Thanks, guys.

Kevin, did the stock turn out to be a postwar Ukrainian rearsenal after all?Tazguy04 wrote:I have the stock from a 1939 91/30 that is just sitting in the parts room if you interested.
If it had the rear band removal cuts, and pressed-in sling escutcheons, it was probably postwar.
If it had screwed-in sling escutcheons and no band cuts, it is what I'm looking for.
Thanks for checking!

It turned out to be post war, with the press in sling escutcheons, I'm sorry I didnt have the stock you were looking for, I am willing to give you the sling and bayonet and I also found one on the barrel bands, as I stated before I'm not gonna ever use them so if you want them they are yours. Just let me know.
