I haven't fired one but since they make them in Virginia Beach they've had plenty of them at the local gun shows. They run ~$1600.
They look neat and feel comfortable just handling them but I'm not sure how useful an enormous semi-auto pistol with a 5.5" bbl is when you could get the same effect with a Glock 21, H&K Mark 23, or some other handgun.
Now, add a stock, a can, and the Happy Switch and you'd have something! :tommygun:

+1

I don't think anyone would buy that configuration if it were not for the silly NFA rules.

I'd SBR it . I've got a G21 and a bunch of mags . So its right up my alley.
I really need to get my hands on one. It will still be a good wile before I can buy one. If i like it.

Ah, SBR makes much more sense IMHO. Can you not buy it that way from Kriss? I thought they had SBRs for sale.

I'd think you'd need to buy it from a Class III dealer or get the carbine version, do the paperwork, and get a gunsmith to cut down the barrel and recrown it for you. I could be wrong (just ask my wife). Good luc k with it and POST PICS when you get it!!!

Yes, SBRs require a tax stamp, which the OP could do himself after purchasing the pistol or purchase it straight up as an SBR. I was curious why the OP was interested in the pistol and converting it himself rather than just buying the SBR.

To be honest I never even thought of premade SBR. I figered I'd buy the pistol and pay for the stamp then wate the 6 mouths and add the stock. But wile I wated i could have the pistol in hand to play with.
