Chik-fil-a can donate to any charity they like. I wouldn't choose to donate to the same charities. I'll probably spend my money elsewhere, same way I try not to support companies who are anti-gun.

I have to say, I'm a Christian, I'm a Conservative and I have common sense. I don't care who marries who or who does what. Do I think letting gays marry will be a good thing? I don't care. I teach my child what's right with Gods help. I haven't seen any good results from using fallible human sinners as representatives of religion positively affect politics.

It's our jobs as Christians to witness to world, not control them.

Sure things start out fine, God says this, so lets agree. then it turns into, if you don't do this, you're against God. Then it turns into my God is better than your God.. ...and then it's the middle east.


And for the record, Being a homophob is no reason to not allow other to make their own choices and mistakes.

God doesn't justify the hate in a mans heart, just the equal love for everyone.

As far as a company being persecuted for standing for their Christian beliefs...That's as unAmerican as anything you'll see. Is there such a thing as a reverse hate crime? We need to see that Chick-fil-A prospers.

Like someone else mentioned, I don't consider myself anti-gay but, I'm certainly not pro-gay. I don't appreciate turning on network television to see two men sticking tongues down each others throats on multiple shows. It's bad enough that kids have to see a dozen erectile dysfunction or penis enlargement commercials during dinner time. If that's what you choose, fine. If you want me to leave you in peace over the issue, fine. But don't flaunt it back at me like my choices are wrong. It's a shame that no matter what a company provides to the public, they aren't allowed to express any non-business related opinions for fear of being blacklisted by the public. Like someone else mentioned, being closed on Sundays really should have told you the founder's thoughts.

My wife and I are expecting our first child any day now. The due date is Aug. 2nd but, some days seem like we won't make it there. If I'm not in a delivery room on 8/1, I will be in a Chic-Fil-A ordering way more than I need to. And if I do happen to be in the hospital, there's a Chic-Fil-A express in the cafeteria!

Now my religious view out of the way, I will just be chalking this up to another reason not to like chick-fil-a. Honostly their food sucks, I've tried to eat it and just can't. So they can keep their views and their sub-par sandwiches.

Me and the wife went to C-F-A Saturday and the place was mobbed. It looked like 5 church buses showed up at the same time. I absolutely will be there in support Aug 1. For or against is not the question, the question is why do the big city libs think that they can attempt to forbid them from opening up in there shi*hole city. We all should box up a chicken strip and send it to their office. Rant over.

As America ns I thought we were supposed to be free to exercise our religion. If pressed on an issue and we state what we believe to be true we should not be subject t nonsense from any level of the state (Chicago). This was the mans personal opinion, not his companies policy. Perhaps, but I suspect that had he expressed a belief that firearms were the epitome of evil, we'd all be jumpin' on him like white on rice.

A man takes care of business in accordance with his personal beliefs, so I imagine that his company policy will, at least somewhat, reflect his personal opinion.

That said, I'm long over due for a chicken sammich, and tomorrow sounds like a great day to consume one.

Truly religious wars/killings (even for those peppy Muslims) are quite rare. Usually its about resources and/or power dressed up in a religious flavor to get more stupid poor people to pick up a weapon.

This applies to most every "religious" war; if you follow the main players/instigators you will find the objectives of the war often somehow magically also personally enrich them.

Correct, but considering that as a Southern White Christian Conservative Male, I am villified by the media, certain communities, and the current admin. I am not backing down, I am not going quietly, and I certainly am not shy about my views.
