Some Christians do protest Muslim groups in the US, but as far as I know they are peaceful protests at least from the Christian side. There have been a few cases of vandalism but quite a few of the cases of vandalism against Muslims has been done by Muslims themselves. Muslims are one of the least targeted religious or ethnic groups in the US. Right now Muslims are a small minority in the US and with the exception of some terrorists do not in general get violent. In foreign countries where they are the majority or a significant percent of the population violence against non-mulsims and apostate muslims is very common and not just the throwing stones but kidnappings, killings, forced conversions, beheadings, church bombings, fires etc. Not to mention the practice in Muslim majority nations of greatly restricting other religions ability to worship or build churches or other houses of worship.

Islam was started by a mass murdering pedophile and he wrote a book teaching his followers (who followed him under the threat of death) to further his cause through violence.

Christianity was started by Christ who healed the sick, preached love and willingly gave His life.
