Edit: it is a difference between left and right, but not between democrats and republicans. This is what I have learned so far.

He's pandering to the Hispanics for votes. It's just one more indication that there's nothing he won't do to hang onto his office. Funny thing is, about a week ago he was making speeches bragging about how many people his administration had deported.

Congress passes the law. The executive branch’s job is to enforce and implement those laws. And then the judiciary has to interpret the laws.

There are enough laws on the books by Congress that are very clear in terms of how we have to enforce our immigration system that for me to simply through executive order ignore those congressional mandates would not conform with my appropriate role as President.

You forgot one thing. They can't legally vote... yet, that doesn't mean they won't be voting, legally or illegally.

Obama, to date, has signed 129 executive orders. In eight years, W signed 291 (two terms). Who signed the most? FDR. In 4 terms he signed over 3,000 executive orders.
