Our gov. vetoes them all!

Post by fiasconva »

Just read on Glocktalk that Gov.Kaine vetoed the concealed carry in restaurants appeal, as well as the bill allowing retired police officers to carry concealed and to consume alcohol while carrying. Anyone else heard anything about this?
Why wouldn't you hold up the targets for me? It's a 9mm.

As they say bad news travels fast,, Its on all the sites and this one ,, I always felt Kaine was an #%$hole and this sort of grandstand action proves me right, I have already sent my emails out to my dumbass rep who voted with numnuts,,, I hear their are enough votes to override most of this except SB1035 which is gonna take some serious contact to the reps who need to change their position on it,

Rick has already posted up in the Virginia National politics forum the email alert from Mr Van Cleave. SB1035 is gonna take some work. The reps and senators that are listed are not even mine, and I'd be willing to call.

I haven't heard it yet but it doesn't suprise me at all. Kaine has been nothing but a PITA to gun owners since he was elected. Since he doesn't want me to conceal carry and not drink , I guess I'll continue to open carry and have my 2 beers with dinner. What an idiot.

Here's the full post from VCDL.

All of them except the restaurant CC bill appear to have had enough votes coming through the system that the vetoes will be overturned. The Restaurant CC bill needs some help.

I will be calling and emailing as well. I can't understand why Kaine would veto bills that have a veto-proof majority, other than to earn brown-nose points with the current administration. So our 2A rights are trashed just so he can secure a cushy job for himself in DC. Does anyone think you'll hear about this in the mainstream media?. Not likely.... just more Kool-Aid for the (m)asses. :protest:

Kaine will be gone soon but not soon enough! Anybody know how Bob McDonnell feels about this issue! Might be worth looking into!
