Outdoor ranges/clubs/competitions in and around Arlington?

I recently moved from Charlottesville to the Arlington area and while I've googled high and low I can't seem to find a definitive list of outdoor shooting ranges or clubs for general sighting in and plinking or tactical pistol and 3 gun matches.

If a thread or website already exists please let me know, but I just can't seem to find anything besides indoor ranges.

You're pretty much out of luck in NoVa. Off the top of my head the only ranges I can think of with outdoor ranges are either closed or private. You can try Fairfax Rod & Gun Club (which isn't in Fairfax). Other than that, I've heard that some of the Izaac Walton Leagues have outdoor ranges, but at least my local has closed its outdoor range for liability reasons.

Is there still an Izaak Walton League up there? They're good for sighting in, not much else.

I found an IWL range in Centreville (~40 min drive). Was told the same concerning them only being for bench shooting/sighting in though.

Looks like there are a few good clubs within an hour and others within 2 for matches.
