Mine's on the 19th, my daughter's is the 15th and my son's is the 30th. So, it will just be one big birthday party!

Re: BBQ and Greet 8/11/2012, 3pm @ The Cove
Just a heads up I have been working on a few shooting games for everyone who goes to the range to take part in. If anyone is interested feel free to pm me so I know how much materials I need for everyone to have fun. I will post more details on what types of games will be played but if anyone has ever seen the show "Top Shot" you will already have a couple of ideas! Sorry I have been distant just in the process of moving (Hopefully) So I will be on soon. Hope all is well with everyone!
I invite everyone to come to the range with me. It's as simple as letting me know what day you want to meet up.

That sounds pretty great! I wonder if we could get RedStitch to bring a used dueling tree to play with.Reca wrote:Just a heads up I have been working on a few shooting games for everyone who goes to the range to take part in.

RedStitch doesn't have any old targets lying around, but in exchange for some advertising here at VGOF, they are providing a 6-target dueling tree! Here's a link to it:allingeneral wrote:That sounds pretty great! That would be awesome! I will ask if they will be coming out to the event.
Thanks for the idea

Wow who would have thought a little BBQ would be getting this kinda attention. Woo Hoo!
Ok so now, VGOF, we need to know who is coming. (note: date change to 8/11/12) I wanna make sure I have enough beast.

Wow, five days before my birthday. If you guys are planning to drive to the range from the campsite, make sure it's not a car and preferably has 4x4. The trail there can be a difficult drive. I'm actually going this weekend so I can give y'all a heads up on the trail/range condition.
I had a SCAR 17 and 16. I also had a bunch of Glocks and a couple H&K pistols. Oh and a DDM4, but I sold everything when our government told me these dangerous tools can actually hurt someone. Apparently they grow legs and go on killing sprees.

I've been up there the last 3 weekends and a few weekdays. The road up to the shooting range cannot be navigated by a car period.scrubber3 wrote:Wow, five days before my birthday. I would love to go to this, but it's doubtful I'll make it.

Re: BBQ and Greet 8/25/2012, 3pm @ The Cove
I have to apologize, as another date change is required due to another VGOF event that I'll be announcing soon that's set for the 11th in King George County. So, don;t clear your calendar for that day - leave it marked "VGOF"
The new date for The Cove BBQ and Greet will be 25 August. I'll try to get the pavilion rented sometime today.

I created a new thread to help stave off confusion as to the dates in this thread.
