My first Piston Rifle arrived!
I know I need to post pics... but I just had to post! Yesterday I received my LWRC SPR for Northwest Tactical. It is the best feeling and handling AR type weapon I've held based on all of the fondling I've done. It is so balanced and feels so right. I need to find my camera and I'll snap some pics but hopefully I'll get out to the range next week.

Nice! Congrats! I really like LWRC rifes but they're just a bit out of my price range which is why I bought a SIG 516 -- SIG allegedly stole LWRC's bolt carrier design. LOL
Post some pictures or better yet let's meet up at the range so I can check out your new rifle in person!

Re: My first Piston Rifle arrived!
program, the LWRC IS an expensive rifle... But I made the decision to go with a piston rifle and the quality and reputation of LWRC is unmatched. I was going to go with a non-AR type platform (SIG556, SCAR, etc) but the availability of parts was what made up my mind.
We DO need to meet up at the range. You can def shoot the SPR as long as you bring your HK clones!
Jake, I'm not sure as the weight as I don't have a scale. One the website (http://www.lwrci.com/p-250-m6a2-spr.aspx) it lists the unloaded weight as 7.35lbs but that is for the 16.1" barrel. I got the 14.7" barrel with perm flash hider.

Love the barrel twisting!

Nice, I like the look of the full length hand guards, and I guess it gives you almost the same sight radius as a 20" barrel. You've definitely got a good one there.
