Another noob here with a few? I got my first AR from liberty arms in hopewell. Where can I sight my new ar15 in? I live in the richmond area by dominion range but I don't think they let you shoot rifles there. Also, what can I hunt with the .223 round? I know its a varmit gun but I'm from dc and I've never seen a groundhog in person.

You have never seen a groundhog? Dont know how you could miss those..they are everywhere. But being from DC I am sure you have seen a lot of weasels. I will check with my Richmond buddies and get back to you on where to shoot.

And you need to take a hunter safety course, and get a license first.

And only certain counties allow rifles, and some that don't allow rifles during the general firearms season DO allow them for groundhogs OUTSIDE of the general firearms season.
