Will anyone be bringing a shotgun that I could take a peek at? I've never shot one and would like to know how it feels before we buy one. I'll bring my sigP220.45, markIII.22, and my .22plinker rifle.
Should I bring sodas or snacks too?

Welcome aboard, Larry and thanks for posting.WmsDad wrote:All,
WE WILL be open tomorrow. GPS coordintates are: 37.26 -77.33
Hours are 1000 to 1600 with last full relay registering around 1500. The firing line has a covering roof, so don't let the rain discourage you!! We are open rain or shine, snow or tornado warnings if they (range control) gives us the range!!
We do have five firing positions for 5.56/.223 and smaller center fires and still working to get a .30 caliber range. Distance is 85 yards.
The cost is $5.00 for the first full hour (or portion there of) and $2.50 for the next half hour. Targets are available for sale, but bring your own eyes and ears. Correct about the CCW not being valid on post. Just have the magazine out (yes that is also considered a "loaded" weapon) and the ammo separate from the weapon. Two separate range bags seem to be acceptable We haven't had a problem with the MPs, but please don't take the chance. They will confiscate the weapon and it's a b****h to get back.
I will be there with my rainsuit helping out as an RSO. I'm a VCDL member and look forward to meeting you!!
