Finally got a S&W 625!!!

Post by bryanrheem »

I've been looking for some time for a S&W 625 in 45 acp. I had first only wanted a pre-lock but realized how difficult it was to find them at a reasonable price. I settled for a 625-6 and I love it! It has an amazing trigger job.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it, but I think it'd be pretty cool to find a comfy shoulder holster for this bad boy. It is LARGE though.

That is a nice hunk of revolver ! Looks very beefy, which I like. I also love the longer barrels like yours, they are wicked accurate.

Thanks fuze,

I also have the top picatinny rail so a scope might be in order.

I'm still kicking myself for not buying a 625 from Dark Sun for $400. I really didn't need a .45 ACP, I should have snagged it anyway, I could have flipped it for $600. Oh well.

yeah, the prices have really sky-rocketed. since 45acp is a common round for me, it made sense to get a wheel gun in that caliber.

That is very very pretty!

Always thought I was the an odd girl. But have always loved looking at guns, shooting them when I get a chance. I think I like the potential energy in them as well.

Congrats on your new beauty.

lol.

Spike, they were not purchased at the same time! I pace myself as best as I can... I think my last purchase will be a M1a and then I'll be all set for a while!

Very nice I would love to have one of those, Id love to have one of each gun made really but oh well we all have dreams. But i noticed you were looking for a M1a i have a friend that is looking to sell his its the shorter scout model i believe, pretty sure its the synthetic stock and not positive but i believe he also has a unfinished wood stock for it. Last I heard he was asking about $1000 which if I had the money it would be mine today but sadly I don't at the moment.
