It's fine, as long as you don't need to shoot to the weapon's capabilities, and you don't mind cleaning. I've shot 150 rounds of Wolf 9mm along with some older carry ammo/strays over the last couple of weeks and all I can say for the Wolf is that it came out of the barrel every time I pulled the trigger. Considering the fact that I was very busy calculating elevations at 15 yards, it wasn't too bad because I had to wait for the smoke cloud to clear between shots, so it gave me something to do. I've got the EOTECH on one of mine, a S&W MP15T, I don't really like it, it was easy to sight in as you say, I just don't like it, maybe its better with a magnifier? I don't know... Ya, I have heard mixed reviews about the EO Tech. Most of my military buddy's swear by the AIMPOINT, while my LE friends like the EO Tech. Personally, I went with it because the field of view and the type of scenarios I shoot within don't lend themselves to longer shots or magnification. The red dot shape is large enough for me to place a shot on each target while making quicker transitions, while I can increase the size on the AIMPOINT, it also seems to block the view.
