How did you find VGOF?

Heard about us at the range?

Heard about us at a Gun Show?

A friend or family member?

Search Engine?

etc.

From another forum. I was on XDTalk, but the wide variety of laws, conditions, and opinions made it "cluttered". Some on the forum suggested coming here.

Went looking for another forum when I moved from PRMD to VA. Found using a search engine, but stayed because of the quality of the posts and the site.

Hey Rick, I found your site when I was looking for information about a rifle and one of the sites on the search engine with a response was yours. I looked around and liked what I saw and joined. Since then I have met a lot of great folks here.

A Google search while I was a member over at The Armory's short-lived forum. I found VGOF about three weeks after Rick created the site.

The rest, as they say, is history.

Found a TX CHL forum, went looking for a VA (as I live in VA, not TX). Typed gun forum VA into the search bar. The Rest is history.

The first person to welcome me was Sgt Bill. Have learned a ton here.

When I was still researching where to live after getting the green light to leave NY we narrowed it down to Virginny and Delaware; was comparing their gun laws and Google led me here.

My answer: I didn't find it - it found me!

I was doing a Google search for sites that let people advertise privately-owned guns for sale in the Commonwealth and this site was one of the top results that came up. Don't recall the exact search string I used though.
