Holster options?

Post by TheBigHeadGuy »

Hi y'all.

Im looking into getting a FNX9, and ran into a bunch of topics stating how difficult holsters were to find for them.

If/when I get the firearm, I'd would be looking to open carry. Im really not into leather(haha) But i was wondering if there were like holsters that Blackhawk or such make that are black elastic type material? Kinda like underarmor(if you know what that is) for holsters. Snug, but stretchy.

Also, I dont wear belts. Like ever. Small frame, 5'7"ish, 150lbs. I wear pants that actually fit.(surprise  ) all my pants "sit" on my, for lack of a more masculine word, hips.

Are there any thigh rigs anyone is familiar with or know? just curious on these types of setups.

Safariland 6004/6005 series. They list the FNX9 and 40.

Have the setup for my H&K's, it works well. I opted for the higher retention level as once the pistol gets away from waist level its harder to keep in a take-away scenario. I'm willing to loose a bit of speed on the draw to have a better chance of not having it taken away.

Holsters don't work without belts, period. Thigh rigs require belts. The only holster options that don't require belts are pocket carry, shoulder carry, and ankle carry. Sorry, it's physics. Get a holster belt/duty belt.
