Need luck and prayers!
As a true geek, I love recording my written music with my vocal croaks and seeing what comes out of it. I've recently taken a second stab at a nationwide songwriting contest to see how I fare. The first attempt in 2003 with two songs in the contemporary Christian category earned me fourth place with one song and honorable mention with another. Happy with that at a national level, but let's hope this time I win a contract. That'll buy a few more for the gun collection!!
If you want total security, go to prison. There you're fed, clothed, given medical care and so on. The only thing lacking... is freedom.
