Just getting my "hello mates" first post taken care of. It's sure hard to think about creating a half-decent, much less half-coherent introduction letter when you're sick with a nasty head cold.
I should probably make mention of my location, some basics - OK....
1. I'm in Alexandria. I'd rather be living on a 500 acre subsistence farm surrounded by 5 dogs, a herd of goats, all the old military vehicles I've ever owned, and an M49 tanker truck filled with home-made biodiesel to "feed" all my diesel-powered fantasy vehicles and generators.
2. I have owned and fired guns since living on a farm in Chancellorsville, back when I was 8 years old - that would have been 1972!
3. The first gun I owned myself, that wasn't my dad's or other relative's gun, was my first Ruger 10/22.
4. The most recent gun I acquired is a 1790-1810 vintage Colonial Fowler flintlock, which is darn cool to handle. Really something to own a piece of early American history!
Phew. I'm tapped. Wish my cold was done already. I am sure I will be back.
