NEW TO THIS!

Hello everyone!
I am new to the gun ownership world, I am currently looking to purchase my first handgun.
I have looked at several guns with my brother and I'm torn between the Springfield xdm 40 cal and the Beretta PX4 40 cal.( my brother owns the Beretta, it's is a very nice gun) I have always had an interest in guns, So I have decided go ahead and purchase my first gun this year! I am looking forward to learning and experiencing gun ownership. I am also looking forward to talking to people on this forum! Again I am new to this so if anyone can recommend a good place to purchase and learn please let me know. I am a beginner, but hopefully not for long.

Hi Shepherd and welcome to the group! I'm a beliver in the .40 too and it is my favorite handgun caliber choice for carrying. Shoot as many as you can
