Like I said the EX LTC West was thrown out of the Army for being a disgrace. Now we find that the august West thinks that no one has a right to speak out about anything they want. West wore the uniform but didn't believe in what that uniform stood for, so he dishonored his profession and his country.

Again I say, thank God that this hateful fool no longer has any influence on our young soldiers. Everyone in America has the right to speak out about anything they want. Welcome to the real America that the would be bully West does not know, or understand. When is West going to learn that he is no longer in a position to intimidate anyone, like he did to that poor Iraqi who was not guilty of a thing when West staged his mock summary execution. So I would fully expect one out of control troop like West, to support other out of control troops who showed the same poor judgement and dishonorable behavior as he did.

You know what dorminWS, the more I thought about it, I remembered that you have very strong convictions so excuse me if I don't believe for one second that you support the arrogant Congressman's West's statement. So West believes that Iraq War, Desert storm, Vietnam War, Korean War, WWII vets and vets of dozens of combat operations like Somalia, and Lebanon have NO right to, or should not comment because they were not shot at by the Taliban? The same prohibition extends to loved ones and friends of the fallen and wounded not just in Afghanistan, but in every combat operation? So NO one who ever wore the uniform should comment? Any American who was not shot at by the Taliban should remain silent? By that standard why is West commenting, he was not shot at by the Taliban either. Does West even understand what country this is? I suspect not.

This is another in the many examples of Congressman West speaking before thinking. With his bone head, dumb ass statements West proves over and over that the Army was right in getting rid of him. It took awhile but the Army finally realized that men of so little moral character do not deserve the honor of wearing the uniform of the American fighting man, and leading the nation's best and brightest. The Army's only mistake was in not trying West. If a private had committed the same act, you can bet he would have been charged and tried.

West is actually where he belongs in a corrupt Congress with others many of whom are also of such low moral character. So I'm not surprised that once again he reached the low standards that he set for himself.

BTW Mr West, yes war is a special kind of hell, we all know that; however, that hell is not an excuse to engage in stupid, juvenile acts, or to act like a bunch of street thugs who were settling a score with a rival gang. But I understand Mr West that you have no concept of decency or honor.
