OK, so they have long since banned REPLICAs.
Ya'll know what the definition of REPLICA is?
Definition of REPLICA
1: an exact reproduction (as of a painting) executed by the original artist <a replica of this was painted … this year — Constance Strachey>
2: a copy exact in all details <DNA makes a replica of itself> <sailed a replica of the Viking ship>; broadly: copy <this faithful, pathetic replica of a Midwestern suburb — G. F. Kennan>
So since when does a leather/plastic outline in the approximate shape of a gun qualify as a REPLICA? Obviously, it is a good idea to ban a REPLICA, precisely because it cannot be distinguished from a real gun. But there just ain't NO excuse to worry about pictures or fashion appliqués. In other words, anybody who's literate enough to know what a REPLICA is ought to know the ban doesn't even apply to this poor gal's pocketbook to begin with.
But these droolers not only don't understand the intent of the ban, they don't even know what a freakin' REPLICA is! Prior posters are 100% right. There's no hope for that bunch they're dumb as a box of rocks. Fire'em all and hire somebody with at least enough sense to come in out of the rain. The bigger problem is that apparently nobody amongst the higher-ups responsible for that pitiful monkeyshow has figured that out, either - - much less stepped in end ended the lunacy. No wonder TSA doesn't get any respect; they don't deserve any. And if Homeland Security is responsible for TSA, they don't deserve any either.

Gun-crazy? Me? I'd say the gun-crazy ones are the ones that don’t HAVE one.

These are the same people who are using hand wands to scan bare skin. Don't you feel safer?

I wonder what would happen if several people flying to the NRA convention on the same plane wore T-shirts with a picture of a gun & NRA emblem?

I was thinking about the US Olympic Shooting Team but I like your idea better. You could get an entire plane filled with people in NRA shirts and jackets.justsumstuff wrote:I wonder what would happen if several people flying to the NRA convention on the same plane wore T-shirts with a picture of a gun & NRA emblem?

Four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, ammo - use in that order.
If you aren't part of the solution, then you obviously weren't properly dissolved.
