Virginia Republicans to push pro-gun laws

Post by OakRidgeStars »

Get ready for those evil, meanie Republicans to start giving Virginians back some of their freedoms. Something tells me that the Dems are not going to take this very well.
"Republicans are going to be responsible for what comes out and whatever results from the decisions they make," said Del. Patrick Hope, D-Arlington. "In all likelihood they will become law. People should get ready for the wild, wild West here in Virginia, and I'm not sure that's what people voted for when they went to the booths in November."

LMAO @ Wild wild west. Don't they bring up the "Wild West" every time someone suggests that the 2A should actually be honored? 'Cause I feel like I've heard that more than once; though, I've never seen it actually happen...

And really the wild wild west was nothing like is was dramatized on tv and movies.

Nothing in Hollywood is portrayed correctly. If it was correctly portrayed, Movies and TV would be rather boring.

I didn't vote for the wild west (close though) but, any improvements made will be better than the BS the Dems have pulled when they had the majority. and refused to listen to us.

Seems to me that I remember the same dire predictions of blood in the streets when it came to carrying in a bar. Hasn't happened yet though!

The left wing lunatics can't stand it that the majority of gun owners are actually responsible citizens!

Wait a minute, a Dem is engaging in hyperbolic rhetoric that has no relation to historical fact or reality?

It's always predictions of blood in the streets and wild west shootouts whenever there's an effort to liberalize gun laws. It's been like that for almost thirty years now, even though the predictions have never come true. It's almost like they're reading from a script or something!
