Went shooting at The Marksmen today

I went to the range today... I often work in the area and it's great timing for me to go right after work because they have a half price 5-7pm during the week.
$8.50 for range fee and two large targets. This is my second time going there. Both times the staff was great. Friendly group.

My wife and I took an introductory Gun safety class there a month or so ago and Juan the Instructor was very patient and an all around great teacher, especially for my wife who had never fired a handgun.

Very friendly folks over there. The manager George is very accommodating. I would highly recommend the Marksman as a place to shoot and for training.

I talked to George today and they are having a sale Saturday Oct 8th on all their guns (except the Glocks, which he said are already priced better than some of the online stores) and they are serving Brunswick Stew.

They are very excited about their new Simulator room that is under construction and should be operational around Dec/Jan.

Anyway, just my two centavos,

cheers,

I try to go there twice a month, they are free for LE and Military (active and retired) on the 1st and 15th of every month. Friendly courteous staff, always been a pleasant experince.

It sounds like you all have a good range down in your neck of the woods.
