Test your News IQ

Post by Chasbo00 »

This is a terrific and incredibly easy test. And it shows results in a number of ways. It clearly indicates that the majority of Americans don't have a clue about what's going on in the world. No wonder our politicians take such advantage of us. It's astonishing that so many people got less than half right. These results say that 80% of the (voting) public doesn't have a clue, and that's pretty scary. There are no tricks here - just a simple test to see if you are current on your information. This is quite good and the results are shocking..I believe it was Winston Churchill who opined that " . . . the biggest argument against democracy is a 5-minute conversation with the average voter . . ."

9% I missed the one on the British Prime Minster.

12 out of 13 for me.
I was in a hurry and mis-read one question.

13 out of 13! Not too shabby.

Howdy,

11 of 13. Missed British PM and gave House Speakership to Sen. McConnell. Really did guess at a couple others, though. Not bad, considering that I quit listening to Rush about 10 years ago, and it has been even longer since I read, watched or listened to anything newsish on a regular basis.

What does that say about the 74% who did worse than me?

Regards,

George

13 out of 13, scoring better than 92% of the public.

Male college graduate aged 18-29 representin!

I checked the demographics, males did better than females, college graduates scored the most correct by education level and by age the 50+ did best.

Didn't know the face, but I knew the name. Guessed Wrong (Sec o Ed). Picked the wrong name for the SC Justice as well.
