Seems to be some sort of HK marketing technique...

From what I have read from HK forums, HK had a piece of marketing material (I believe it was the last pic in ChaosBoo's post) where someone put the rounds in backwards in the magazine for the photshoot. Of course HK tried to pull it from public view once they realized what happened, but it was too late and the public really started to focus on it. It is now to the point where generally speaking most HK owners when they take a pic of their firearms and they include a magazine that is viewable, they tend to put the top few rounds in backwards. Every brand has its own quirks, this just happens to be HK's.

This is exactly right. Just a goofy inside joke really.totes6 wrote:From what I have read from HK forums, HK had a piece of marketing material (I believe it was the last pic in ChaosBoo's post) where someone put the rounds in backwards in the magazine for the photshoot.
