News From Occupy LA

Post by SHMIV »

Here is a video clip from a speaker in one of those "Occupy" things:

It sounds as if the crowd agrees with his views. I think I'll be getting more ammo today o.O

More ammo and another weapon to throw said ammo. These guys are nuts! Do they have no concept of history? Don't they know what happens when you do this sort of stuff? Lots of people die often including the instigators. Scary! As I said more ammo, more guns.

Sadly, another gun is not in my budget.... Fortunately, though, 12 gauge ammo is pretty cheap :)

After our newest addition is born (come December) then we will look to add another weapon to our meager stash. Thinking of a Kahr CM9--reasonably priced, still shoots a 9mm but is concealable. I love my Glock 36, but it is a good bit bigger than then CM9 and has become hard to conceal, and after pregnancy comes nursing of children and that will add it's own problems with concealment in public. Of course around the house I just plan to get an OWB once jeans with belts become an option again. I have this affection for NAA mini revolvers, and will own one someday, but right now I have to go with practicality vs funny/BUG. For the moment more .45 ammo.

I'll be more than happy to put some of those vermin down!

I'll also enjoy watching our army slaughter them should it come to it, you see they have weapons and the army has bigger ones. Because in the end all the ARs in the world don't mean jack against a tank! :ak47: + :tank: = :bombed:

when i read that it reads as him taking part in it, but not as the instigator or leader

True, and the worst I see what Hitler did dangerously close to repeating itself! It'll only take a few plants to spread the ideas and one madman with a silver tongue to give their anger direction. Then before you know it genocide!

be careful what you wish for if the military gets involved then there will be marshal law which means no election and most likely it will not end with just the protestors. they possibly continue till nobody has a voice.

I reckon it's ok for that unwashed, ignorant mob of loafers, socialists and communists to rant around, crap in the streets and openly advocate the use of violence to take from those that have; but I bet if one of us were to state an intent to shoot them if they tried, WE'D be at least investigated for inciting a riot or conspiring to commit terrorism or some other crime. Makes me hope one of them slips into the Congressional parking garage and craps in the back seat of Nancy Pelosi's limo.

Like when Sarah Palin was arrested for telling people "its time to take a stand" and "reload and take aim" for "20 house Democrats", one of which, (oops) actually was shot?

Oh, that arrest never happened. No investigation either. Why do conservatives have such an overriding victim mentality and persecution fantasies?

Fact is, people regardless of ideology here in America have a reaaaaaally wide berth in what they can say, which is good.

I can't EVEN believe that a self-avowed liberal would have the gall to say such a thing! LIberals, as a whole, are the most victimized, persecuted bunch in the world - in their own minds, anyway!

Bullsh!t.

First the crack about Sarah Palin just proves my point about the liberal reaction to an exercise of free speech when they disagree with the point expressed.

Second, There's a difference between "overriding victim mentality and persecution fantasies" and simply confronting the inevitable. Once again you butress my point by failing to know (or more likely, ignoring) the difference.

In some ways, you seem to be a nice guy. I continue to hope that someday you'll see the light on the liberal fantasy and come to live with us in the real world.

Hmmm, send money? Harh!

O, Irony!

Most of the demands of the Occupy Wall Street (etc.) crowd can be broken down to the basic plea for wealth redistribution.
So how do they feel when their own wealth gets redistributed?

Occupy Wall Street protesters said yesterday that packs of brazen crooks within their ranks have been robbing their fellow demonstrators blind, making off with pricey cameras, phones and laptops -- and even a hefty bundle of donated cash and food.
“Stealing is our biggest problem at the moment,” said Nan Terrie, 18, a kitchen and legal-team volunteer from Fort Lauderdale.
“I had my Mac stolen -- that was like $5,500. Every night, something else is gone. Last night, our entire [kitchen] budget for the day was stolen, so the first thing I had to do was . . . get the message out to our supporters that we needed food!”
Dude! Sorry to hear your $5,500 Mac was stolen. That sucks, man! But try not to think of it as stolen. Think of it as "redistributed."

I wonder... has anyone run the numbers on the amount of theft at the average tea party? If so, how does it compare to the theft at the average occupy movement? Personally, I have not. But I imagine I could make a fairly accurate guess.

I heard on the radio how the mayor of LA LA Land gave 100 free ponchos to the occupy LA vermin (sponsored by George Soros) because it was raining out.

I would approve had they first been infected with da small pox.

Word. We bitch about the "conservative media" constantly, "conservative academics" attacking us, and constantly publish books that all seem to be titled "conservatives want to destroy America" with serious looking photos of famous liberals on their covers.

Oh, wait, we never say or do any of that. The persecuted minority (the fact you are the majority is never mentioned) badge is most definitely held by your camp.

To be honest I don't care really, but its just that the wailing of persecution is definitely loudest from the right, maybe my speakers arent balanced, but thats the way it seems.
