Question about ejection port on GSG-5

I just bought a GSG-5. The ejection port is open. When does it close? I cant actually see any thing that covers it to close it. I have not loaded the gune as this is my first .22lr and have not purchased ammo yet.

I'm not sure I understand the question. As far as I know, the GSG is a plain blowback .22, the bolt does not telescope over the barrel (same as a real MP5), so there's nothing that would "close" the ejection port except closing the bolt.
