Re: More Open Carry Questions!

You two have just made a case against open carry in general. I have to disagree. The young man wants to exercise his 2nd Amendment rights, and since he is (to the best of my knowledge) legally able to do so, I support and encourage that. It is true that he may get hassled by law enforcement, this i...

More Open Carry Questions!

Alright, so now I have my first handgun and I would like to OC. I'm not 21 for a couple months so CC is just out of my grasp. My question is about locations where OC is not allowed. I live in the Chesapeake area of Hampton Roads. I am aware of the more obvious places like federal buildings, schools,...

Re: Some encouraging news

With just over 100 days until the election, Democrats need to pick up the pace—now—or attacks on President Obama will go unanswered in battlegrounds like Ohio and Virginia. Re: Open Carry Question

Thank all for helping me understand the law better! Now that I know that I may own a handgun, may I follow up with my second question? I don't want to risk a IWB since it's not as open as an OWB holster would be. That being said, can anyone suggest a good holster for a 4" barreled revolver? I'm...

Says who?
You can not purchase a handgun before the age of 21, therefore you can not "own" one. You don't own it because it's not in your name. You may be in posession of it, but you don't own it.

Open Carry Question

Hello, everyone! I understand that you need to be 21 to own a handgun. I also know that you must be atleast 18 to OC. I am 20 years old. Is it legal for my father to buy the gun (so it's in his name) but I carry it? I could not find any clear answers. Also, the gun I am interested in is a Rossi R971...
