Some encouraging news

Post by dorminWS »

I get e-mails from both the dems and the repubs that call me one of the faithful and ask for money. Not only do I need to be on good terms with both parties for business reasons, but as a true independent, I have supported candidtates from both parties in the past. I just got the following e-mail from the democrats, which I certainly hope is a good sign that we have a sporting chance of being rid of the scourge that is Obama come January 20, 2013. Of course, there is no way to know to what extent this is just hype to scare the ignorant ravening masses into funding more class warfare propoganda. But I can hope.

RE: Polling update: 7/26
Monday's Wall Street Journal had it right: “Unless fundraising picks up, the Obama campaign may enter the season’s final stretch…pulling out of swing states.”

Romney has outraised President Obama two months running, and now they’re polling neck and neck.
***Swing State Polling Update***
Virginia: Obama 44 Romney 44 (Quinnipiac, 7/19)
Michigan: Obama 44 Romney 45 (Mitchell Research, 7/25)
Ohio: Obama 48 Romney 45 (Purple Strategies, 7/16)
With just over 100 days until the election, Democrats need to pick up the pace—now—or attacks on President Obama will go unanswered in battlegrounds like Ohio and Virginia. The July FEC deadline is just 5 days away, and Democrats must raise an additional $600,000 or we could give Republicans an insurmountable lead. Can you kick in $5?

Thanks for your help,
Guy Cecil

Just dropped a few more bucks on Romney...

Thanks for the post!

Obama has been out raised 3 months running. He has also out spent Romney by millions and is still declining in the polls, to the point that ABC has to set a new record by using a D+11 poll to show Obama being up by 6 points. They're in fear of loosing. Not to mention the fact that all Dems up for election are on their own. There's no money coming from the campaign the assist them. I doubt if they would even want Obama to speak on their behalf. I truly believe that November will be the most historic and most revealing election in over 200 years.

HA! :hysterical: Like that's even remotely close to the truth. If he wanted more money he could cut back on the spending of commercials for a while. I am so SICK of seeing his face every commercial break on television. This will be my first presidential election and I would be proud to know that my vote helped get him out of office.

Boy, lonestarag, have you ever got it wrong! :hysterical:

I've never given and cannot foresee that I would ever give the DSCC so much as the sweat
off my b@lls, much less any money. My feelings are hurt to have you even think so. I have supported some democratic candidates over the years, and been on a first-name basis with some democratic Governors, Cabinet Secretaries and Legislators. I guess that's where they got my name. I just never spit in their eye told them I wouldn't give them air if they were in a jug, so my name has stayed on the list. What was it Don Vito Coreleone said?
