Great news, Reca and I talked to the guy at the front desk at the Cove yesterday and ask him when they were going to clean up the range. He told us he just bought a dump truck so hes going to clean it up within a week. We had an amazing time yesterday, I can't wait to see it all cleaned up. [ Post m...

Re: Open Carry since the big shooting
Anyone have any issues with open carry since the shooting at the movies? No problems have come up for me. I still carry daily around Prince William County. People just give me the usual stare from the corner of their eye hoping i dont see them lol. [ Post made via Mobile Device ] http://vagunforum....

This is a good subject. I'm 21 so i understand people my age can be very obnoxious but when I OC I am very respectful and present myself in a profession manner.

Can someone please help me out here!
I kept hearing about the new gun shop in Lake Ridge called "C & G Guns", i also saw them at the Nations Gun Show and they told me to stop by. So I head over there today because its 10mins away from my house. When I get there, the sign says they are open 11am-5pm but the doors are locke...

Re: Concealed Carry Holsters?
I would say to buy a quality holster right off the bat. Why buy something subpar when you know already you will want something better later. I went through maybe 3 holsters for my XD before just buying a custom fit minotaur IWB from comptac. The fit is great and you cant even tell it's there. I hea...

Concealed Carry Holsters?
I'm looking into getting my CHP very soon, but my only issue is that there are to many different types of holsters :hysterical: I'll be carrying a Glock 19 on my 4 or 5. I'm mostly looking at Galco holsters at the moment, I was wondering which had a better feel to it. Also, if you have any other pre...

Re: Good OC Experience
In truth? The pro gunners just give you a smile, and wave. The Anti-gunners? Scared of you. I've seen them CROSS THE STREET to not be near a "man with a gun". :hysterical: I think your completely right about that, carrying isnt as bad as i thought it would be. I've been carrying everywher...

Good OC Experience
Found a fellow gun lover and carrier at a local gas station today. Had a great long conversation with the guy about why we carry and the laws, its just nice to find others out there with the same mentality. I was also somewhat late to work but it was well worth it :hysterical: . I cant wait for the ...

Re: How did you feel when you first OC'd?
I OC'd for the first time today, in Home Depot off of smoketown and in Giant in Mapledale Plaza. Nothing out of the norm happened. For the most part no one even noticed but those that did just glanced, no big deal to me. I was increasingly more conscientious about my surroundings which I dont mind e...

Re: How did you feel when you first OC'd?
A lot of how you feel (especially in NOVA) will depend on where you are. The more rural you get, the comfort level goes up. If you OC in Ashburn, for example, be prepared for soccer moms grabbing their kids and screeching off to the van. OC in Purcellville and no one bats an eye. One more suggestio...
