Good OC Experience

Post by ZwergVl »

Found a fellow gun lover and carrier at a local gas station today. Had a great long conversation with the guy about why we carry and the laws, its just nice to find others out there with the same mentality. I was also somewhat late to work but it was well worth it :hysterical: . I cant wait for the next meet and greet or the National Gun Show in Chantilly. Hope to see some of you there, stay safe everyone :friends:

That is so awesome. I am glad to hear it. My biggest worry is getting harassed with while I am out with my kids. I open carried yesterday with husband and kids. No problems, people talked to us like they would normally. Maybe they did not notice.

In truth? The pro gunners just give you a smile, and wave. The Anti-gunners? Scared of you. I've seen them CROSS THE STREET to not be near a "man with a gun". :hysterical:

Just OC'd on my morning walk with the kids. I was out 2 hours. Pushing a double stroller with my kids in it. Normally after my morning work out I go walk for 1 to 2 hours. Today I carried, and because I was carrying I wore jeans instead of work out gear. The kids were saying they were thirsty, so I said ok, and decided to walk into a Walgreens. No problems. People looked, some gave me weird looks but no one said anything. I know I have heard people say to wear nice clothes... but when I am working out I really don't wanna wear nicer than jeans and a t shirt.

Walking home I had this guy in an impala slow down from 30 mph to 4/5 mph no cars around him at the time looking straight at me. I smiled and then he moved along faster as if caught looking. I assume he was looking at my gun.

Over all everyone was nice a polite. =) Cashier kept craning his neck to see to my other hip.

I think your completely right about that, carrying isnt as bad as i thought it would be. I've been carrying everywhere I go for less than a month now and i have yet to have a bad experience. I been all over Woodbrdige, Manassas, and Fairfax. The worst thing thats happened is people breaking their necks to see what i have :hysterical:
