Re: Pan handler tries to stab concealed carry holder in NOVA

Scary thing is that retrieving a loaded weapon from the glove box (I'm assuming it was loaded w/ a round in the chamber) under stress is not something that is probably practiced often. In the close confines of a car, with a passenger, there is a great risk of covering a...

Re: open carry
Ive been liveing here in Stafford for way too long, more then 20 years. It is way over populated. Sometimes you see a stray soul carrying in Walmart or at a gamestop when they have a midnight release. I usually CC now but I intend to OC a little bit more in the future.

Re: Firearm Unfriendly Businesses in Virginia
VA code section 18.2-308 does not state anything about" there must be a NOTICABLE sign on EVERY entrance not just one." There is no regulations on HOW the signs must be displayed in Virginia. I digging but cant seem to find anything, there has to be some sort of guidelines for a "fir...

Re: Firearm Unfriendly Businesses in Virginia
As far as I can find the law states: The granting of a concealed handgun permit shall not thereby authorize the possession of any handgun or other weapon on property or in places where such possession is otherwise prohibited by law or is prohibited by the owner of private property. There's nothing ...

Re: Firearm Unfriendly Businesses in Virginia
I was unaware that there was specific signage required by Virginia. I believe the proprietor is not actually required to post signage, but can simply ask you to leave, regardless of posting. there must be a NOTICABLE sign on EVERY entrance not just one. but if they see it and ask you to leave you m...

Re: Virginia Castle Doctrine - Attempt to Codify - review now!
I agree. Its sad that we live in a state where our defending our families has such a thin line on it. I say if you break into my home weather or not im there you are an immideate threat and need to be dealt with by any means necessary.

Would personally like to see the defense of property included , Noone should ever have to surrender their property to anyone seeking to steal or otherwise obtain that property illegaly by force or ...

Re: Shooting in defense of life
None of the shooting to stop stuff means try to shoot the guy in the leg or the arm or the shoulder. shooting to stop means putting the bullets where they as immediately as possible stop further aggressive/life threatening action by the person you shoot. It that person dies then ti was a result of ...

Re: Shooting in defense of life
And as others have pointed out, there is no such thing as "shooting to wound" or "shooting to kill." When presented with a threat, you are shooting to stop that threat, period. If, in doing so, the person gets wounded, but by wounding him, you have stopped the threat (e.g., he f...
