Re: Obama likes people with guns after all
IMO even the most dedicated anti-gun father will find himself changing his mind on the gun issue when the boys start noticing his daughter(s). I'm gonna rock this shirt in 10 years: http://thechive.files.wordpress.com/2011/10/great-funny-photos-11.jpg That reminds me when I picked up one of my high...

Re: Pocket Carry of Small Caliber Handguns
I pocket carry a Kel-tec p32, mostly as a back up to my Kel-Tec p11, but sometimes on its own. I also wanted to agree with the earlier post in this thread about cleaning, as I find that my p32 gets dirty with lint pretty quickly.

Re: "Place of Business" Exception
Thanks for the replies, guys. Sorry if this was kind of a repost, as I didn't see the thread mentioned earlier. I don't think I'll be trying my luck by conceal carrying w/o a license at work as I don't want chris137 v State of VA to be the test case for this. Short of a definitive case law or AG opi...

"Place of Business" Exception
Hey guys had a question about the "place of business" exception to carry a firearm concealed without a CHP. It seems to me that 18.2-308 says that "Any person while in his own place of business" can conceal carry without a CHP. The question is: Do you have to own the business or ...

Re: Georgia Transplant
Welcome! Which town in Ga? I grew up in a little town called Madison, and then I moved a little south to Milledgeville, so Charlottesville is a big city to me! Madison is on I-20 about 45ish miles east of ATL. Milledgeville is 45ish miles south of that, and was the capital of Georgia during the Civ...

Re: Georgia Transplant
Thanks for the welcome, Dormin. Yes, Charlottesville is a wonderful town so far. I've seen a lot of liberals, but I've met a few good minded people here too. I see that you are a member of the VCDL. I've been to their website, and they seem to be a very good organization. I was looking to join a goo...

Georgia Transplant
Hi everybody, I'm Chris and I just moved to Charlottesville from a small town in Middle Georgia. I spent a lot of time at what you could call the GA equivalent of this site, gapacking.org, so I'm looking forward to meeting everyone here. I've already found your site very helpful, as I'm looking to g...
