Georgia Transplant
Georgia Transplant
Hi everybody, I'm Chris and I just moved to Charlottesville from a small town in Middle Georgia. I spent a lot of time at what you could call the GA equivalent of this site, gapacking.org, so I'm looking forward to meeting everyone here. I've already found your site very helpful, as I'm looking to get my VA CHP in the near future.

Howdy, Chris, and welcome. Charlottesville is a beautiful town. Owned a house there when I was in school at THE University. My mother is from Charlottesville. Too bad the libtards have taken over Mr. Jefferson's homeplace. Glad to see that balance shift to the good by one right-thinking individual.

Thanks for the welcome, Dormin. Yes, Charlottesville is a wonderful town so far. I've seen a lot of liberals, but I've met a few good minded people here too. I see that you are a member of the VCDL. I've been to their website, and they seem to be a very good organization. I was looking to join a good state organization that promotes the 2nd Amendment and was considering joining them. (I was and still am a member of georgiacarry.org, a very effective pro-2nd Amendment organization back home). What your opinion of the VCDL? Thanks.
Re: Georgia Transplant
I grew up in a little town called Madison, and then I moved a little south to Milledgeville, so Charlottesville is a big city to me! Madison is on I-20 about 45ish miles east of ATL. Milledgeville is 45ish miles south of that, and was the capital of Georgia during the Civil War, also famous for its large insane asylum (now mostly empty), the residents of which must have bred into the local population at some point I figure.ProShooter wrote:Welcome!
